North Point Periodontics serves the residents of Alpharetta Georgia and the surrounding areas with top quality dental implants and comprehensive implant examinations as well as complete periodontal services. Our periodontist, Dr. Kirkland, has the ability to place various types of dental implants to replace missing teeth. We offer a variety of different implant systems and can perform multiple procedures on the same day. Using dental implants, we are able to provide our patients with replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth.
Following careful pre-planning between our dental professionals, the dental implant is placed into a precise location in the jaw bone. A temporary crown, or crowns, is placed and healing of the implant is allowed, followed by permanent placement of the teeth. Healing of the implant can take up to six months, depending on the individual situation. Implant surgical procedures are very well tolerated and is generally one of the “easiest” procedures we do, from our patients’ perspective.
Our periodontist, Dr. Kirkland, has had an extensive amount of training and experience placing dental implants. By combining our expertise with state-of-the-art technology, we are able to produce excellent results for our patients.
At North Point Periodontics, we are committed to making your dental experiences as pleasant as possible. To this end, we use the latest techniques to ensure that our patients are comfortable during and after the placement of dental implants. We also take the time to thoroughly present treatment options, explain procedures and educate patients about the maintenance of their oral health.
If you are interested in dental implants, Dr. Kirkland will be happy to evaluate your dental needs to determine if you are a candidate for this advanced restorative procedure. During your initial appointment, our experienced periodontists will examine your mouth and, if appropriate, recommend the specific type of implants suited for your particular case. We will then let you know how to prepare for your surgery and what to expect during and after the procedure.
